Do u really think US military would try a soldier for /murder if it thought he might possibly be innocent?

Call me cynical, but I don't think they would try one of our guys if they had any doubt about his guilt. Do you think they create a worldwide spectacle over these s and murders (not to mention the torture cases) on the off chance the accused might have done it?
