One of my tetra fishes are missing?! Help!?
So i have a 40 gallon tank with what was 7 rummynose tetras, 2 mollies, 3 platys, and 3 snails. I was fish gazing yesterday night and noticed that one of the tetras was isolated from the school....this was the first time i've seen this happen. It was just hanging out by itself even when the school of fishes approached it still wouldn't follow them. Super strange. So the next morning i look in my tank and realize that a tetra fish is missing. The tetras have been in there for a couple weeks and i just bought the platys and mollies yesterday. The platys are super peaceful but the mollies keep on chasing the tetras. I have checked underneath the rocks and the filter and nothing. My first guess would be the mollies because i heard they eat alot and frequently but the mollies arent that big compared to the tetras...i would say the tetras are about an inch big while hte mollies are about 1.5-2 inches...is it possible for the mollies to eat a tetra ??
