Using the following symbols, show the genotypes of the parents?

So the female is a zygous dominant (X^A X^A). The male is a zygous recessive (X^a Y). The offspring will be 1/8 X^A X^A (female orange), 3/8 X^A Y (male orange), 1/4 X^A X^a (female tortoiseshell), 1/8 X^a X^a (female black), and 1/8 X^a Y (male black). You can calculate this by making a Punnet square for the AAxaa cross, and then dividing each by 1/2 to create males/females.
